The field is grouped with other shapes
Fix: select the group in PowerPoint and choose Ungroup. Leave the field rectangle separate from the players and routes.
Set up offense and defense
Use separate title slides with just OFFENSE or DEFENSE, without a field rectangle.
- No section titles: all plays are treated as offense.
- Offense and defense: put OFFENSE before your offense plays and DEFENSE before your defense plays.
- Defense only: start with DEFENSE, then your plays.
- DEFENSE but no OFFENSE title: plays before DEFENSE count as offense; plays after it count as defense.

Upload and print
Save as .pptx, with one play per slide. Put a large, separate rectangle behind each play (Insert → Shapes → Rectangle). Keep names, players, and routes inside it.
Upload, choose your cards, then select Create coach card. This makes printable PDFs, not editable plays.

Troubleshooting
A play is missing, cut off, or looks wrong
Rounded corners are fine
Standard, rounded and snipped-corner rectangle variants work. You do not need to rename the shape or change PowerPoint’s language. Keep the field separate from grouped shapes.
There is no field rectangle
A slide background or picture alone is not enough. Fix: use Insert → Shapes → Rectangle to add a rectangle behind the play.
Too much of the slide is printed
The largest rectangle is used as the field. Fix: remove any larger decorative rectangle around your play.
The file will not upload
Save or export as .pptx, then upload that file. A shared link, PDF, .key, or older .ppt file will not work. The upload limit is 50 MB.

Text or drawings look different
Some special fonts, pen effects, and Office diagrams may look different in the PDF. Fix: try common fonts and simple shapes, then upload again.
Missing title slides or other skipped slides
No OFFENSE title slide? If the file has no OFFENSE title slide anywhere, plays before the first DEFENSE title slide are treated as offense. A message after conversion tells you when this happens.
If you do use an OFFENSE title slide, put it before the first offense play; earlier plays can be skipped. Start a defense-only file with DEFENSE. Title slides are not printed as plays.
Slides containing PRINT IMAGES, APPENDIX, or TEMPLATE are skipped. Avoid those words on play slides you want to print.
File limits and how conversion works
Upload a .pptx file up to 50 MB. Up to 64 offense / 24 defense plays can be printed across additional pages.
The website makes a picture of each play inside its field rectangle. It does not use AI to interpret your routes or change player labels. Both 5v5 and 6v6 work.
